Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with her ground and pound techniques and earned an TKO second round victory. She remained dominant as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges with the fighters, got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
